The Lived History of Vatican II (April 24-26)

Location: Notre Dame Conference Center, McKenna Hall

vatican_logoThis international conference will examine the comparative, international, lived history of Catholicism in the Vatican II era.

In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the opening and closing of the Second Vatican Council, the Cushwa Center enlisted researchers to write close-grained local social histories of the immediate Council era and its aftermath in fifteen select dioceses spanning six continents. A coauthored project volume will be produced after the conference.
