Gallery Talk & Reception for "Outsider at the Vatican: Frederick Franck's Drawings from the Second Vatican Council"

Come enjoy the distinctive images of Vatican II created by Frederick Franck, whose work offers a close-up and personal view of the Council.

St Peter's Basilica

Starting at 5:00 p.m., light food will be served alongside a hosted beer and wine bar. The program begins at 6:00 p.m., when Catherine R. Osborne, postdoctoral fellow at the Cushwa Center and curator of the exhibit, will offer a talk.  

The event is free and open to the public​, but attendees may RSVP here to help us with planning.

About the exhibit:

Franck's work, including many of the 68 drawings that are part of the current exhibit, was last displayed at the University of Notre Dame in 1963. The pieces are on loan from Pacem In Terris: The Frederick Franck Museum and by The Catholic Documentation Center, Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
