The question of women and the diaconate: A conversation with Dr. Phyllis Zagano and Anna Keating

-

Location: 140 DeBartolo Hall

Pope Francis recently instituted a new commission to study women and the diaconate. In the words of the press release of Vatican News announcing the commission, one of its foundational tasks is to "study the permanent diaconate that existed in the early church." This panel conversation will examine that question, as well as the theological and pastoral implications of the ways women serve in diaconal roles in our church today. Come join the conversation.
