What do McDonald’s, Whole Foods, Walmart, Chipotle, Aramark, and Trader Joe’s have in common? They have all entered into agreements addressing human rights in their food supply chains through the work of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW).

A panel discussion on CIW’s Fair Food Program will consider the role that businesses and popular movements can play in defending human dignity and contributing to the common good through solidarity and community.

Created by the Coalition in 2011, the Fair Food Program is a worker-driven social responsibility program focused on human rights in agricultural supply chains.

This event is cosponsored by the Business Ethics and Society Program and the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism.
