Mary Johnson, S.N.D. de N., will deliver a lecture entitled "The Past is Truly Prologue: International Sisters in the U.S. Today," on April 6 at 7:00 p.m. in the McKenna Hall Auditorium.

Johnson, distinguished professor of sociology and religious studies at Trinity Washington University, is the lead researcher for "International Sisters in the United States," a study of more than 4,000 internationally-born religious sisters. The study was a collaboration between Trinity Washington University and the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA), and was funded by the GHR Foundation.

This is the keynote lecture for "Too Small a World": Catholic Sisters as Global Missionaries, the Cushwa Center's international symposium taking place April 6–8, 2017, at the University of Notre Dame.
