David Lantigua is associate professor of theology at the University of Notre Dame, where he has served as co-director of the Catholic social tradition minor in the Institute for Social Concerns. He teaches courses including “God and Slavery in the Americas” and an introduction to Catholic social teaching. His first monograph was Infidels and Empires in a New World Order: Early Modern Spanish Contributions to International Legal Thought (Cambridge, 2020). He is currently writing a book on the Latin American theological and cultural dimensions of Pope Francis’s social teachings and their implications for global Catholicism.

MaDonna Noak joined the Cushwa Center in 2017 and coordinates event planning, grant administration, the hosting of fellows and guests to campus, and the daily operations of the center. Prior to coming to Notre Dame and the Cushwa Center, she worked at Saint Mary's College in the Department of Biology.

Shane Ulbrich joined the Cushwa Center in 2014. He oversees operations and communications and supports special initiatives and strategic planning at the center. He holds a master of theological studies degree in systematic theology from the University of Notre Dame and master's and bachelor degrees from Boston College.
